Guangdong Taipingling Nuclear Power Plant is located in Huidong County, Huizhou, Guangdong. As an approved nuclear power project during the 13th five-year plan, it is constructed and operated by CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CGN Group. In phase 1, it is planned to construct 2 sets of Hualong No.1 units. After obtaining the construction license on December 25, 2019, the first unit kicked off on December 26, 2019.
