The Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant I is located in Haiyan county, Zhejiang province. Phase I project employed Chinese-designed CNP300 pressurized water reactor, with an installed capacity of 300 MWe and a 30-year designed operation life. Integrated localization rate exceeds 70%. In March 1985, the FCD was completed onto the nuclear island based at the site and commercial operation began in April 1994.
