Publicity activity of nuclear safety carried out at the Measuring And Control Technology Ltd in Kaifeng city

To implement the China’s nuclear safety concept of “Rationality and Coordination, Moving forward together” put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping, seriously carry out the 4.15 Nuclear Security Education Day, enhance the people’s awareness of nuclear safety, the Department of Environmental Protection of Henan Province, based on the practices, organized the local environmental protection agencies of Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, Luoyang, Xuchang cites to carry out the dissemination activities on nuclear safety in various forms and with rich content.

Dissemination activity of nuclear safety in Xuchang Institute

Zhengzhou Environmental Protection Agency carried out dissemination activity of radiation safety at Agricultural Bank community, cottage office, Zhongyuan district, with more than 100 people receiving consultation and more than 1000 copies of publicity materials being distributed. Luoyang Environmental Protection Agency went to the densely inhabited districts in Luopu street of Old City zone, Song county, Luanchuan county for carrying out the dissemination of nuclear safety through hanging banners, deploying display board, distributing brochures and other ways. Kaifeng Environmental Protection Agency organized many users of radiation, including Kaifen Center Hospital, to carry out independent publicity activities by hanging slogans, showing scrolling electronic display screen, issuing brochures, publicity pages and pamphlets, and setting radiation safety consultation desk on the sites where their workplaces are in. Xuchang Environmental Protection Agency organized the volunteer environmental service teams to develop series of activities entitled with “opening up a new era of national security” and “knowledge of nuclear safety in community”.

As the next step, the Department of Environmental Protection of Henan Province will continue to launch wider dissemination of the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and knowledge of national security and nuclear safety through a combination of portal site, twitter, WeChat and other media. This is intended to enhance the public confidence in nuclear safety, raise public awareness of further maintaining national security and create a good social atmosphere of consciously safeguarding national security.
